This is a remote position. 

 

Project timing:  We are looking to hire ASAP. The project will be 6- 12 months with the possibility to extend. 

 

Primary responsibility:  

This small team will be directed by the Veracity Solutions Engineering Shared Services Team which is managed out of the Ft. Worth, TX office.   

 

As part of Veracity’s engineering’s Shared Services Team, this team will initially build out Common User Destination framework which employs Common UI Components that depend on REST APIs.   

 

The team will be expected to follow industry-standard software application development practices (SDLC, Agile/Scrum, etc.)  

 

Required Qualifications for Software Development Engineer, Testing 

• Programming experience in one or more object-oriented languages  
• Experience creating automation tests and leveraging test frameworks interfacing with one of the following:  

• RESTful services 
• Message Queues 
• Relational Databases 
• Web Applications 

• Understanding of TDD, BDD, and data-driven test practices 

• Experience testing and validating SaaS based solutions. 
• Experience in one of the ALM tool 

 

Preferred Qualifications for Software Development Engineer, Testing 

• Experience interfacing with CI/CD tools  

• Experience in automation script development (i.e. Selenium) 
• Experience in designing end to end test automation for Big Data and Cloud applications  
• Experience in cloud technologies like CloudFront, Kubernetes, Docker, VPC, Octopus, etc. 
• Experience creating performance and scalability tests using JMeter, BlazeMeter 
• Experience with automation testing of microservices and Restful API's

Working Arrangements:   

• This is a remote/virtual position but will be expected to have an environment conducive to professional work with reliable internet connectivity. 
• Monday through Friday or as defined by assignment requirements
