Full Job Description

Designs, maintains, and optimizes RESTful API's and maintains mission critical features, up-time, performance, object design, and developing of new features to optimize integrations with 3rd party applications while learning and apply best testing, development, and coding practices.

You Will:

• Own implementation of integrations with client systems using existing APIs
• Contribute to product design and requirements discussions
• Design & implement new features, APIs, and test suites to ensure quality, while keeping a strong customer focus
• Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs
• Coordinate with other internal and external teams to help ensure proper workflows
• Demonstrate accountability and ownership of all assignments
• Identify useful 3rd-party technologies and determine when & how to use them
• Test and profile code written by yourself and others
• Provide status and feedback to management
• Perform other duties as requested

You Have:

• Three to five years of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience
• Previous work with RESTful API Design or maintenance
• Experience with C# and Core.NET
• Ability to read and create API Rest documentation
• Experience with Postman or Curl for API testing
• Experience with NextGen Connect / Mirth
• Experience with code repositories and management, with GIT preferred
• Experience with databases, with SQL preferred
• Experience with web technologies such as HTTP requests, JSON, etc.
• Knowledge of debugging code & tracking down issues
• Motivation as a self-starter and can work independently as needed

Schedule:

• Normally Monday to Friday, 40-45 hours/week with some flexibility required to handle software releases in off-peak hours and support client implementation and events on weekends
